1. Small fluid resistance, ball valve is one of the least fluid resistance in all valve classes, even if it is a reduced diameter ball valve, its fluid resistance is quite small.

3. Good sealing performance of the seat. The sealing ring of the ball valve is made of elastic materials such as polytetraethylene, and the soft sealing structure is easy to ensure the opening and sealing, and the sealing force of the ball valve increases with the increase of the medium pressure.


4. Valve stem seal is reliable. When the ball valve is opened and closed, the valve stem rotates without lifting, and the packing seal of the valve stem is not easy to be damaged, and the sealing force of the valve stem reverse seal increases with the increase of the medium.


5. Because PTFE and other materials have good self-lubrication and small friction loss with the ball, the service life of the ball valve is long.

9. Sealing characteristics of the valve seat: The valve seat of the floating ball valve uses polytetrafluoroethylene, para-polystyrene and other polymer materials, which has good sealing performance, but the material is relatively soft. Due to the soft material, but also to achieve a certain sealing pressure, is bound to increase the opening and closing torque, in order to improve the situation as much as possible, the company adopts double inclined elastic seal ring or V-groove elastic seal ring structure design, using the pressure in the pipeline to push the ball to help seal. When the medium pressure is small, the sealing ring and the sphere contact area is small, so there is a larger sealing pressure, to ensure reliable sealing. When the medium pressure is large, the contact area between the sealing ring and the sphere increases. Therefore, the sealing ring can withstand large medium thrust without damage. For ball valves with very low working pressure, considering that the medium pressure can not ensure the reliable sealing of the valve seat, and the preload force will decay after long-term use, it is designed as a lip shaped valve seat, using the principle of elastic deformation to make the valve sealing performance reliable and reduce torque.
